Erin Sanchez, M.S., LMFTA
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I consider it a great honor to walk alongside you as you navigate life's difficulties and bravely take a step toward your healing. My experience as a survivor of abuse as well as my passion for movement and the outdoors give me a compassionate and active involvement in helping you navigate towards greater wellness. Working together, I hope to help you to make sense of and befriend your story. My general practice areas are working with individual women and couples (dating, engaged, and married). I specialize in working with 20 and 30 something aged young adults who are struggling with past trauma, life-transitions unique to young adulthood, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, and family of origin struggles. By utilizing mindfulness oriented therapies as well as Walk and Talk therapy, I help clients to find relief and process how family of origin, relationships, and life experiences have come to shape your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I have extensive training in the area of trauma as well as training in Trauma-Sensitive yoga, Gottman Therapy (a couples oriented therapy), Emotionally Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, and family systems. As part of my graduate program, I also received training in incorporating faith into therapy and offer faith-based counseling when desired.
When not providing therapy, I enjoy spending time outside, discovering new foodie spots, and reading. I also love exploring the beautiful PNW with my husband and two children.
